This course is designed for people newly appointed to positions of responsibility in the voluntary sector, as paid staff or trustees, this fast-track short course will provide an opportunity to find out more about the key issues voluntary organisations face.

Morning

• Voluntary sector issues, culture and ethos

Afternoon

• Recruitment, development and support of volunteers

Day 2

Morning

• Fundraising and income generation

Afternoon

• Effective governance

Hours: 10.00am - 4.30pm with 45mins for lunch
