Training

The Working For A Charity training courses offer information and advice to career changers, returners to work and new graduates on how to transfer their skills effectively into the sector and the management issues they may face.

The first course was run in January 1990 and since that time around 3000 people have benefited from our training. We currently run two different courses:

Foundation Course

Next course date: starts 01 May 2012 (book a place)

Seven days of seminars in London, spread out over a couple of months.

This course is particularly useful for people looking for paid employment as well as for new trustees and people planning to set up new voluntary initiatives. The course is open to all – those in the private and public sectors wishing to change careers, recent graduates, people returning to work – in fact anyone with a keen interest in transferring their skills to the voluntary sector.
